50th Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition Inaugurated

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday inaugurated the 50th edition of the Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition, at the Bahrain National Museum.

He graced the event on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman highlighted the innovative, creative, and cultural contributions made by Bahraini artists in various exhibitions and events.

These contributions have played a pivotal role in showcasing the Kingdom’s cultural and developmental accomplishments, which receive ongoing support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Highness noted Bahrain’s pride in the contributions of its people to local and international events and exhibitions. HH highlighted the significant role of the Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition in showcasing the Kingdom’s cultural and artistic progress, supporting young talents, and enriching regional artist movements. He commended the efforts of the Exhibition’s organisers and wished them continued success.

During his visit, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman toured the Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition and its accompanying exhibitions, where he was briefed on a wide range of artworks from different art movements, including drawings using diverse materials, video and installation pieces, photography, and sculptures. The President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, thanked HRH Prince Salman for the support.
