Oman: Indian School Student Commits Suicide

A student of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir jumped from the top of her building, according to a top official from the Indian School administration. The student waited for her parents to leave their home in Wadi Kabir, before committing the act.

“They live in a two-story building in Wadi Kabir, and on top of that building, is a small flat, so she climbed onto the top of that structure and jumped from there,” said an official from the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in the Sultanate of Oman.

The reasons behind her decision to commit such an act are yet to be ascertained. The school will remain closed on Sunday to observe one-day mourning.
