Egypt: 15 Killed, 7 Injured In Multiple-vehicle Crash On Cairo-Alexandria Highway
Fifteen people were killed and seven others wounded in a collision involving multiple vehicles in Amreya on Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road.
Alexandria Traffic Department said the accident occurred near a bridge in Amreya.
The accident scene was cleared up to restore traffic movement and the Public Prosecution was notified to start a probe into the accident.
Amreya is a city in Alexandria Governorate. It is situated in the northern part of the country along the Mediterranean coast.
