Bahrain: 88 stranded Filipinos repatriated

Eighty-eight stranded Filipinos in Bahrain have been repatriated via a chartered flight as part of the ongoing Repatriation Programme by the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

As part of safety procedure during repatriation, the passengers were all tested for COVID-19 through the funding of the Philippine Embassy.

All passengers were provided a COVID-19 travel kit including PPE suits, masks, face shields, gloves and hand sanitisers.

The Embassy continues to provide assistance in repatriating stranded Filipinos in Bahrain as part of the Philippine government’s COVID-19 response programme.
