Bahrain calls on citizens, residents to register for vaccine, booster shots

The Ministry of Health calls on citizens and residents to register for vaccination or booster shots to raise the level of immunization against the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Vaccinations are our best protection against the virus by reducing infection rates and severity of symptoms and complications that may lead to death.

The health ministry data shows that 95% of the total number of deaths were recorded among unvaccinated patients due to complications from the virus, confirming the significance of vaccination is in raising levels of immunity and immunization.

The ministry reiterated the importance of adhering to the standards of social distancing, staying at home except for necessities and limiting gatherings within the same family.
