Bahrain: Development of Isa Town road begins
Concrete bricklaying works of road 1218 in Block 812 B of Isa Town has begun, works ministry said.
The road between Doha Street and Muscat Street in the southern governorate forms part of the ministry’s infrastructure development programme.
The project aims at reducing traffic congestion on Street 77 (Ajwad Al Jabri) as it is also an alternative path and the main entrance to the social services complex in Isa Town.
Works include the construction of a rainwater drainage network, and the complete re-paving of the road and sidewalks with bricks to create the maximum number of parking spaces. Lighting, traffic safety signs and ground lines are also being installed.
Abdul Hadi Al-Amn Company is the contractor of the BD 300,000 civil works of the project. Yoko Company is handling the BD100,000 Asphalt laying works.
