Bahrain: Flights to Turkey will resume only in July

“Turkish Airlines issued a clarification that resumption of flights from Bahrain to Turkey was postponed,” owners of travel agencies confirmed to Albilad Newspaper that they have received a copy of this clarification issued.

They added that flights were postponed until the beginning of July after they were supposed to start on June 11th.

Owners pointed out that the most concern of tourists was whether there would be a quarantine after returning from Turkey or not.

Owners said that many Bahrainis contacted them to inquire about reservations to Turkey and that there were many citizens who expressed their strong desire to travel. He added that desire to travel increased with the conditions created by COVID-19.

It is noteworthy that Turkish cities are the most popular choice of travel to Bahrainis and GCC citizens in addition to religious destinations, over the past years due to the flexible procedures, the large number of options, the converging social environment, and favorable prices.
