Bahrain: Indian Embassy Issues Data Collection Form for Repatriation

In line with the possible evacuation of Indian nationals due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Indian Embassy issued a data collection form for repatriation.

The Embassy stressed that the form is only for the collection of information with regard to those who want to return to India under compelling circumstances on payment basis.

The form is to be filled for a single individual at a time. Those interested will have to fill the form separately for each member.

So far no decision has been taken with regards to the resumption of flights to India.

Meanwhile, the government of India is putting final touches to a plan to evacuate over 400,000 Indians in GCC. The phased evacuation of close to half a million Indians could be the world’s largest evacuation of civilian nationals.
