In light of the discovery of the new COVID-19 variant across several countries, the Cabinet affirmed its commitment to continuously monitor global developments and stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain is currently free of the new variant.
Necessary measures will always be taken to protect Bahrain’s citizens and residents. The concerned authorities have been directed to continue their monitoring procedures.
