Bahrain inmates will be given the opportunity to study for master’s degrees.

The initiative, which is coordinated with the Ministry of Interior, reflects commitment to enabling all citizens to develop their capabilities and contribute to developing their communities, said Education Minister, Higher Education Council (HEC) Board of Trustees’ Chairman Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma.

In a statement, Dr. Juma praised the support of the Minister of Interior General Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to joint work to implement the best practices and care for inmates’ rights.
