Coronavirus: World’s Youngest Victim is a 6-Week-Old Baby
A six-week-old American baby who died after testing positive for coronavirus is now believed to be the world’s youngest victim.
The infant died in Connecticut last week, according to Governor Ned Lamont, who described the situation as ‘absolutely heartbreaking’.
‘This is a virus that attacks our most fragile without mercy. This also stresses the importance of staying home and limiting exposure to other people. Your life and the lives of others could literally depend on it,’ the governor said.
The novel coronavirus has infected more than 938,000 people and killed over 47,000 worldwide.
