Falcon’s Flight at Six Flags Qiddiya will have a top speed of 251 kmph and a vertical drop off the side of a cliff, according to a presentation at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo.

Currently scheduled to open in October 2024, the Six Flags Qiddiya is one of the most ambitious megadevelopments in Saudi Arabia, and the Falcon’s Flight rollercoaster is wowing theme park fans from around the world.

A newly released video gives a virtual tour of the rollercoaster, with key statistics showing off the record-breaking fans.

When complete, it will be the world’s tallest, fastest, and longest rollercoaster, making it one of the most anticipated rides in theme park history.

  • World’s tallest rollercoaster: 195m
  • World’s fastest rollercoaster: 250kmph
  • World’s longest rollercoaster: 4.25km

Global rollercoaster specialist, designer and manufacturer Intamin unveiled the latest plans at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida this week.

“Now we are in the design stage with the experts at Intamin and the engineering team at Six Flags, the excitement is building.

“Falcon’s Flight will dominate the skyline at Qiddiya weave all the way around our destination, right out of the theme park, up the cliffside, and down the cliff face – the greatest drop of any ride in the world.

“It won’t be for the fainthearted”.
