Dubai Announces Free Parking for Eid Al Fitr 2024, Shares Metro, Bus and Abra Timings
Dubai has announced free parking for the duration of the Eid Al Fitr holidays and revealed public transport timings in the emirate.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the business hours of all services during the holiday of Eid Al Fitr 1445H (2024) covering Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport means, and service provider centres for vehicle testing.
All public parking will be free of charge (except the multi-level parking terminal), from the Ramadan 29 till the Shawwal 3, and tariffs will resume on Shawwal 4.
Dubai Metro timing
- Saturday, April 6: 5am – 1am (next day)
- Sunday, April 7: 8am – 1am (next day)
- Monday – Saturday, April 8-13: 5am – 1am (next day)
- Sunday, April 14: 8am midnight.
Dubai Tram
- Monday to Saturday: 6am – 1am (next day)
- Sunday: 9am – 1am (next day)
Dubai Bus
Adjustments will be made to the operating hours of buses and intercity buses during the Eid Al Fitr holiday. To know about the changes during the Eid Al Fitr holiday the RTA advises users to check the S’hail app for details.
Water taxis
- Marina Mall – Bluewaters (BM3): 4.15pm – 11.25pm, based on demand. Customers must place their reservations in advance
- Marina (BM1) Marina Mall – Marina Walk: Noon – 11.05 pm
- Marina Promenade – Marina Mall: 3.55pm – 10pm
- Marina Terrace – Marina Walk: 4pm – 10 pm
- Full route: 3.55pm – 9.40pm
Dubai Ferry
- Al Ghubaiba – Marina Mall, Marina Mall – Al Ghubaiba (FR1): 1pm – 6pm

Service Providers Centres (Vehicle Testing)
Service Providers Centers are closed during Eid Al Fitr 1445 Hijri holidays from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3. Work will resume on Shawwal 4, provided that Just (Vehicle Testing Service) will be provided Only on Ramadan 29 and Shawwal 3 1445 Hijri / 2024 Gregorian.
Customer Happiness Centres
All Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during the holidays, provided that Smart Customers Centres of Umm Ramool, Deira, Barsha, Al Kifaf centres and RTA Head Office will remain operational as usual 24/7.
