The Civil Aviation Affairs announced that the entry procedures for the Kingdom of Bahrain will be updated via Bahrain International Airport starting Friday, February 4, 2022, when it has been decided to abolish the compulsion of the examination certificate (PCR).
- Effective from 04 February 2022, there will be no need to present a PCR certificate before boarding a plane for passengers arriving in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
- All precautionary health measures currently in force will continue to be followed, including a PCR test to taken upon arrival, and a precautionary quarantine for those who are not vaccinated.
