Etihad Airways has announced new ‘Chat’ and ‘Surf’ in-flight packages, offering travellers access to chat and messaging applications as well as unlimited data throughout the flight.
The packages are divided into two categories ‘Up to 7 hours flight’ and ‘Over 7 hours flight’ – prices vary accordingly.
For flights up to seven hours, the chat package is priced at $2.99, it is a text-only package and gives travellers access to chat and messaging applications. For flights over 7 hours, the package costs $4.99.
A surf option is also available which offers travellers an unlimited data package throughout the flight and can be used for chat, messaging, emails and more. The package costs $9.99 for flights up to seven hours and $4.99 for flights over seven hours.
