India reports 163 coronavirus deaths; 18,855 new cases
Indian health authorities said on Friday that 163 people died due to COVID-19 as 18,855 fresh positive cases were reported from across the country in the last 24 hours.
The Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that fatalities due to COVID-19 mounted to 154,010 while the total number of positive cases surged to 10,720,048.
According to the Indian health ministry, 10,394,352 people recovered from the pandemic as it spread to 35 Indian states.
