Kuwait has today confirmed 534 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 160,901 cases.
The Ministry said that no infected patient had passed away, keeping the death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic at 952.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 6,203, with 50 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad.
The ministry said that 439 infected patients had recovered from the virus, raising the overall tally to 153,746. The health authorities conducted 8,978 swab tests bringing the total to 1,455,481.
