Kuwait records 255 new coronavirus cases and 256 recoveries

Kuwait today reported 255 novel coronavirus infections (COVID-19), taking the caseload to 146,044.

The Ministry of Health announced that one virus-infected patient had succumbed recorded over the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 911.

The number of people hospitalised with the virus currently stands at 3,308, with 68 of them in intensive care units.

Health Ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that that some 4,824 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 1,176,983.

The ministry had earlier reported that some 256 more people had been cured from the virus over the past day, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 141,825.
