Kuwait records 492 positive cases; 2 deaths
Kuwait has today confirmed 492 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total 161,777 cases.
The Ministry said that two infected patients had passed away, raising the death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic at 954.
The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 6,057, with 51 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad.
The ministry said that 531 infected patients had recovered from the virus, raising the overall tally to 154,766. The health authorities conducted 7,928 swab tests bringing the total to 1.471,104.
