Kuwait registers 570 new cases and 406 recoveries

Kuwait has today confirmed 570 new COVID-19 infections over the past 24 hours, raising the total to 159,834  cases.

The Ministry said that no infected patient had passed away, keeping the death toll since the outbreak of the pandemic at 951.

The number of people hospitalized with the virus currently stands at 6.057, with 51 of them in intensive care units, according to ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad.

The ministry said that 406 infected patients had recovered from the virus, raising the overall tally to 152,826.
