Coronavirus in Bahrain: 6 New Cases Detected Today

The Ministry of Health has registered six new cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), confirming a total of eight registered cases in the Kingdom so far.

The cases were registered after two Bahraini citizens (one male and one female) and four Saudi nationals (four females) arrived at Bahrain International Airport from Iran via Dubai and were examined as part of the precautionary measures taken in light of the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The ministry indicated that the infected individuals had arrived in Bahrain after a visit to Iran, highlighting that individuals who were accompanying them were also moved to isolation as a precautionary measure after testing negative for the virus.

The ministry called upon all citizens and residents who are experiencing symptoms of COVID19 to isolate themselves, call ‪444, follow the instructions given by the medical team, and avoid close contact with others.
