The official logo of the 33rd Arab Summit to be held in Bahrain on May 16 has been unveiled. The composition of the logo is a representation of the Bahraini identity, which is deeply connected to its Arab depth.
The Bahrain Summit is round shaped and features a ring carrying a traditional Bahraini architectural pattern. The logo of the Arab league comes with a mother of pearl backdrop, in an ode to pearl oysters that Bahrain has been known for over millennia. The logo is framed by an outer ring in a golden colour, which symbolises Bahraini gold that is renowned for its quality.
The font used in the logo is Arabic font thuluth (an Islamic-Arabic calligraphy font). The font’s red colour is representative of Bahrain’s flag.
