The Ministry of Health has registered 2164 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Monday.
Among those, 592 new cases were of expats and 1572 of Omanis.
The total cases in the country has now touched 58179, including 37257 recoveries and 259 deaths, according to MOH.
The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
