ROP Arrests Several Across Oman
Three expat women were arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for engaging in unethical acts in South Al Batinah Governorate.
ROP said in a statement: “The Department of Inquiries and Criminal Investigations , led by the South Al Batinah Governorate Police, arrested three women of Arab nationality in the Wilayat of Rustaq for committing acts contrary to public morals. The legal procedures are being completed against them.”
A citizen was arrested for drifting his vehicle and endangering himself in Al Dhahirah Governorate.
The Directorate General of Traffic said in a statement: “Al Dhahirah Governorate Police Command arrested a vehicle driver on charges of drifting his vehicle and endangering himself after a video clip was circulated on social media showing him committing the act. The legal procedures are being completed against him.”
