Russia’s Largest Carrier Resumes Flights to Abu Dhabi

Russia’s largest airline, Aeroflot, has restarted regular flights from Sheremetyevo Airport to Abu Dhabi International Airport.

An Abu Dhabi Airports spokesperson confirmed the news at the Dubai Air Show this week.

The airline transported 20.5 million passengers (40.7 million passengers as Aeroflot Group, including subsidiaries) in 2022.

The Russian carrier will operate four weekly flights on the narrow-body Boeing 737-800 to the UAE’s capital.

The airline will operate from Abu Dhabi International Airport’s new Terminal A, which can receive up to 79 aircraft simultaneously.

The carrier’s business class passengers and golden and platinum members of its loyalty programme can access the business-hall plaza premium lounge in addition to other facilities at the new terminal.
