Saudi: 1,055 new coronavirus cases, 13 deaths announced
The Saudi Ministry of Health confirmed 1,055 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number 412,216 cases – including 9,759 active cases.
In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), it announced that 13 infected patients had passed away due to health complications, bringing the death toll to 6,900.
No information was provided on the ages of those who died or if they suffered any pre-existing conditions.
The ministry said that 1,028 virus-infected patients had recovered, raising the overall number of recoveries to 395,557 so far.
