Saudi Civil Defence warns about rain lash in areas
The Directorate of Saudi Civil Defence (DCD) has called on the public to be cautious and prepared based on warnings issued by the National Center of Meteorology of thunder rain over scattered areas of Saudi Arabia as of Wednesday till next Saturday.
The center noted that the regions that will be affected include Riyadh, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawawrah, Al-Bahah, Asir, Jazan, Najran, Al-Qassim, Hail and Al-Sharqiyyah with moderate rain and brisk winds that might lead to flash floods.
DCD Spokesperson warned all to stay away from places of floods and commit to the department’s regulations announced through various media outlets and social media websites so as to preserve their safety.
