Saudi: Over 81 kilograms of hashish hidden in a vehicle thwarted

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle more than 81 kilograms of narcotic hashish hidden inside a vehicle coming to Saudi Arabia through Al-Wadiah port.

ZATCA said that it discovered the hidden hashish while conducting an inspection process on one of the vehicles coming through the port.

After completing the seizure process, ZATCA said that the recipients of this contraband were arrested after it coordinated with the General Directorate for Drug Control (GDDC) to ensure the arrest of the recipients of this quantity of contraband inside Saudi Arabia.
