Saudi reports 1,897 cases; 29 deaths
The Ministry of Health confirmed 1,897 new cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number to 270,731 cases cases.
In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the ministry said that 29 infected patients had passed away, raising the death toll to 2,789.
The ministry said that as many as 2,688 infected patients cases had recovered, raising the tally to 225,624. It reported 42,418 active cases, of which 2,103 are in critical condition while the others are stable.
