Sheikh Hamdan Issues Order to Give Dubai Golden Visa to Imams and Preachers

Sheikh Hamdan issues order to give Golden Visa to Dubai imams, preachers, muezzins, Muftis, and religious scholars.

Imams and preachers who have served in Dubai for more than 20 years will be issued a golden visa.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has issued an order to grant golden visas to imams, preachers, muezzins, Muftis, and religious scholars who have served in the emirate for more than 20 years.

Sheikh Hamdan also issued directives to provide them with financial rewards on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

Golden visa in Dubai

The decision is a gesture of appreciation for their efforts to share the teachings of Islam, spread its true message and promote the value of tolerance.

Earlier this Ramadan it was announced that imams and ‏muezzins in the emirate will receive salary increases to reflect the important tole they play in society.

The gesture reflects Sheikh Hamdan’s commitment to empowering mosque imams in their role of promoting the inclusive message of Islam and fostering ethical and positive social attitudes.
