The global live entertainment industry is gearing up for a major change in its international calendar. Two of the most influential organisations in the sector, the International Live Music Conference (ILMC) and Pollstar, have teamed up to launch the Live Summit Middle East. This inaugural event will take place in Abu Dhabi from 7 to 8 December 2026. The summit represents the first collaboration between these two industry giants focused on the Middle East, highlighting the region’s growing role in the multi-billion-dollar global touring market. The event is hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, and is produced by Ethara, which is known for managing the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. By bringing together 500 senior leaders, the summit aims to create a central hub for decision-makers who oversee live music, sports, and cultural festivals.
