Saudi: Private Sector Firms Urged To Complete Documentation Of Employee Contracts Through Qiwa Platform
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) called on the private sector establishments to quickly complete the procedures of documenting contracts of their Saudi and non-Saudi employees through the ministry’s Qiwa platform.
Earlier, the Ministry had fixed the percentages of compliance required by establishments with regard to documentation of contracts, based on the total number of employees of the establishment.
The percentage of documentation in each quarter of the year 2023 has been fixed as follows: First quarter 20 percent; second quarter 50 percent and third quarter 80 percent.
The Ministry stressed the need for establishments to adhere to the required percentage of documentation. This is to ensure the protection of the rights of the concerned parties.
The MHRSD confirmed that only those establishments that comply with documenting 80 percent or more of their employee contracts via the Qiwa platform will be able to fully benefit from the Ministry’s services.
