Bahrain: Local Contractors Get BD 67.5 Million Shaikh Hamad Grand Mosque Renovation Project
The contract for renovation and maintenance work of Shaikh Hamad Grand mosque has been awarded by the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs to Saraya Contractors for BD67,454.994.
The project encompasses the demolition and reconstruction of a section of the minarets, as well as reinforcing the current foundation. The scope of work also includes internal and external plastering, electrical installations, flooring using ceramic or porcelain tiles, and gypsum ceiling installation.
During the bidding process, two companies showed interest, namely Saraya Contractors and Sarab Contracting. Eventually, Saraya Contractors emerged as the successful bidder.
