Over 12 Million Tourists Visit Morocco
The flow of tourist arrivals in Morocco reached 12.3 million at the end of October 2023, reflecting a remarkable 39% increase compared to a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy.
This growth attests to “the remarkable resilience of Moroccan tourism despite the crises,” the Ministry stressed in a press release, carried by Maghreb Arabe Press (MAP).
Following a record September, October maintained this positive momentum, welcoming 1.2 million tourists, a 3% increase compared to October 2022, the same source said.
