Bahrain to take part in 2022 World Jiu Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi

Bahrain is stepping up preparations to take part in the Jiu Jitsu World Championship, which will be held in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, on November 2-9.

General Sports Authority (GSA) Deputy Chairman, Bahrain Martial Arts Council (BMAC) Chairman HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa visited the national team’s training for the upcomining contest.

He was received bu Bahrain Jiu Jitsu Federation Chairman Reza Ebrahim Munfaradi, Deputy Chairman Ahmed Janahi, Secretary General Hussein Al Tarif and other officials.

HH Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa attended part of the training, led by national jiu-jitsu team coach  Sergio Moraes.

He met fighters and stressed the importance of getting ready physically and technically, expressing his confidence in the team’s ability to achieve positive results and honour the Kingdom of Bahrain.
