Oman: Earthquake Recorded in Gulf of Aden
An earthquake was recorded in the Gulf of Aden on Sunday, March 17, 2024, the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at Sultan Qaboos University said.
A statement issued online by the EMC said: “An earthquake in Gulf of Aden with a magnitude of 5.3, at 10.03 am MCT and at a depth of 10 km has been recorded. The earthquake was recorded 809 km away from Salalah.”
