Egyptian President Wins New Term After Securing 89.6% Of Total Valid Votes
Head of the National Elections Authority (NEA) Counselor Hazem Badawy announced Monday that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has won a new term in office after securing 89.6 percent of the valid votes.
The president received 39.7 million valid votes, Middle East News Agency (MENA) quoted Badawy as saying.
The announcement was made during a press conference held Monday by the NEA to declare the results of Egypt’s 2024 Presidential Election.
