The Council of British International Schools (COBIS) Global Music Festival concluded after a three-day celebration of music. This was the first time the event was held in Bahrain, and it gave students from across the globe an opportunity to visit Bahrain and learn about the culture of the country.
Held from February 9th to 11th, the event provided a platform for schools from around the world to showcase their musical prowess. The BSB welcomed approximately 190 students hailing from across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
This year’s festival saw the participation of 30 registered schools from across the globe, including the Kingdom of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Romania, Nigeria, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.
The Council of British International Schools (COBIS) is a collection of over 300 British schools throughout the world. The British School of Bahrain is the first school in Bahrain to host the festival.
