UAE: Citizen honoured for zero traffic violations in 45 years

An Emirati who has not committed a single traffic violation in 45 years was among nine senior citizens honoured by the Sharjah Police for their traffic record. They were felicitated at a ceremony held at the Sharjah Police Club to mark the International Day of Older Persons.

Mal Abdullah Ibrahim Al Hammadi, who has not committed any traffic offences since getting his driver’s licence in 1975, told Khaleej Times that driving is an “art form”. He advised the youth to follow traffic laws that help prevent accidents and save lives.
