“Entertainment is such a huge part of our race, and I’m pleased to confirm such a great line-up of acts! Since we started the race in Diriyah, we have wanted to entertain fans, not only with incredible electric racing but also with a Fan Village where they can enjoy various activations, plus the live music concerts that keep the party going throughout the evening,” Carlo Boutagy, Founder and CEO of CBX, the promoter of the Diriyah E-Prix said.

The races will take place on a street circuit surrounding the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Diriyah. These night races are the only ones in the Formula E season, adding an extra element of excitement to the event.

Ticketholders will have the opportunity to enjoy a full day of entertainment for the whole family at the Allianz Fan Village before the races commence at 8 PM AST on both days.

The Fan Village will offer racing simulators in the gaming arena, live music performances, street food, and much more.

The Diriyah E-Prix races are part of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to investing in sports as part of its Vision 2030 cultural transformation.

The country’s Ministry of Sport has played a crucial role in inspiring a 48 percent increase in weekly sports participation among the local population, as well as an increase in the number of Saudi-based sports federations from 32 in 2015 to 97.
