Kuwait: Driving License Verification Procedures Made Easy For Expats

Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operations Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Jamaal Al Sayegh, issued a decision on the verification of driving licenses of expatriate drivers and representatives of companies who have obtained a license from their countries or any other country.

This decision indicated that the expatriates will not be requested for details certificate for such licenses from their respective embassies and these documents will not have to be attested by the Foreign Affairs Ministry.

According to a reliable source, the decision was taken after noticing the long procedures for granting licenses to drivers and representatives of companies.
