Bahrain: 314 new cases, 280 recoveries, 1 death today
The Ministry of Health in Bahrain records 280 additional recoveries from Coronavirus (COVID-19), increasing total recoveries to 10,606. 314 new cases were detected among which 169 are expatriate workers and 136 contacts of active cases and 9 are travel-related.
The Ministry of Health announces the death of a 72-year-old male Bahraini national, a registered active case of Coronavirus suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.
The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time. The patient, along with all other active COVID-19 cases, had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.
There are currently 68 cases receiving treatment, of which 13 are in a critical condition. 5,084 cases are stable out of a total of 5,097 active cases.
