The High Criminal Court sentenced an Asian man to three years behind bars for human trafficking after forcing two Asian women into prostitution. The two victims came to the Kingdom of Bahrain to work in a local restaurant, and they met the defendant upon their arrival.
He informed them that they will be prostitutes, or they have to pay BD3,000 to release them. They were locked up in a hotel, and were forced to have paid sex with strangers. He denied them from leaving the apartment.
