Bahrain court orders woman to pay BD1,000 to lawyer

A woman who refused to pay her lawyer after representing her in multiple cases has received a court order to pay BD1,000 towards pending fees. The lawyer said the woman owed him BD1,500 for representing her in various court cases. “I tried to get my money in friendly approaches and requests,” the lawyer told the Court.

“But she started ignoring my calls altogether. “This left me with no options other than approaching the court.” After hearing the arguments, the Court ordered the woman to pay the lawyer BD1,000 for his services. “The plaintiff’s evidence is beyond any doubt,” the court ruling pointed out.
