Bahrain increases daily COVID-19 vaccination capacity

Bahrain today announced the expansion of the its vaccination campaign, by increasing daily vaccination capacity to 31,000 doses.

The Kingdom has requested 4.5 million doses of all types of approved vaccines to cover the 2021-2022 vaccination and booster requirements. This is also done to reflect the residents’ choice and ensure vaccination rollout targets will be met.

Citizens and residents are urged to register for a vaccine and a booster shot via the Ministry’s website healthalert.gov.bh.
