Bahrain: Prices Fixed for Disinfectants and Sterilizers

Prices for sterilizers and disinfectants have been fixed and export banned for three months. This was upon Resolution No. (28) issued by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism for a period of three months from the date of implementation of the provisions of this decision.

The decision prohibited the restriction of the flow of all kinds of disinfectants and hand sanitizers to the market, by hiding or storing them unjustly, or refraining from dealing in them. The decision added that it was not permissible to export any type of disinfectants and hand sanitizers, except with prior permission from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism.
