A quantity of US made JIF peanut butter products suspected of being contaminated with salmonella has been seized, based on the warming of the Food and Drug Authority.
Food control inspectors have confiscated the suspected products duing intensive inspection campaign at markets and hypermarkets, said the Ministry of Health.
it was found that a small amount of JIF peanut butter was imported, according to the serial batch number specified in the International Risks and Warnings System, whose operational numbers start from 1274425 to 2140425.
