Bahrain: Traffic Directorate reports 1511 violations

Director of Traffic Operations and Control, Col. Adel Al Dossairi reported 1511 violations in residential areas in June, along with wrong parking of 44 vehicles and motorcycles that risk the safety of people. A total of 47 stunt driving incidents also reported.

He said that, based on complaints received by residents about violations of drivers, including stunt driving and disturbances, legal action was taken against the violators.

Other violations also include window tint violations, expired vehicle registration, using a handheld mobile phone while driving and wrong overtaking.

Col. Adel Al Dossairi called upon drivers to follow traffic rules to ensure the safety of residential areas, especially for children and elderly.
