Bahrain: Three Arrested In Southern Governorate for Stealing Electrical Wires Worth BD 12,000
Three suspects accused of stealing electrical wires and other metal materials valued at approximately BD12,000 were arrested, the Southern Governorate Police Directorate announced yesterday.
Following reports of the theft, the police swiftly began search and investigation operations.
These efforts led to the identification and arrest of the suspects.
The investigation revealed that the suspects had already sold a portion of the stolen items and were attempting to smuggle the remaining goods out of the country in a container.
In cooperation with the relevant customs authorities, the Southern Governorate Police Directorate successfully recovered the stolen items. Legal measures have been taken, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
