Careem revealed the top locations in the UAE for Eid Al Fitr 2024 including Yas Island, Global Village and Downtown Dubai.
With expected ride surges during the holiday period, the ride-hailing company even implemented Eid discounts for this period.

The data was derived based on analysis of rides during the Eid period over the last two years with the same trend expected to continue this year.
The UAE government has announced holidays for Eid Al Fitr for public and private sector workers in the country.
According to the announcement by the UAE government, holidays for the public sector will begin April 8 until April 14, lasting nine days including the weekend.
For the private sector, Eid holidays will begin on 29 Ramadan and continue until the 3 Shawwal.
“The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that Monday, 29 Ramadan (8 April 2024) to 3 Shawwal (or what is equivalent to it in Gregorian calendar) will be a paid holiday for all employees in the private sector across the UAE on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr,” the MoHRE read.
